Centerline Liberties 2025 Highlights
“As 2025 comes to a close, Centerline Liberties reflects on a significant year of policy and political shifts. Amidst it all, Centerline has continued its work advocating for the needs and desires of the forgotten majority on issues like early care and education, mental and public health, the future of AI, energy abundance, and the freedom to marry. Our recent polling efforts on these and many other topics reveal a unifying trend: Americans are more united than we are divided on everyday priorities. A one-pager detailing Centerline’s 2025 highlights is linked here, and below are more details on our continued efforts to defend core constitutional liberties, preserve a free market economy, and limit the role of government in Americans’ everyday lives.

2025 Highlights
Clean Energy
Throughout 2025, in alignment with our fall 2024 national poll results, Centerline Liberties continued to promote an all-of-the-above energy strategy that supports clean energy and American-made innovations. From releasing polling data on public support across the political spectrum for EV manufacturing and infrastructure, to James Dozier keynoting conferences in Maine (he shared more on the “Let’s Connect Greater Portland” podcast) and South Carolina, serving as a Platinum Sponsor at NCEW 2025, and running ads on clean energy’s impact on the workforce and economy in AK, IA, KS, ME, UT, and NC, Centerline continued to lead on this issue.
As data centers continue to be built across the country, the U.S. must take an all-of-the-above approach to energy production. Interested in supporting the fight to build a stronger, more secure energy future that puts Americans first? Sign up here.
Child Care
In November, Republican pollster Alex Lundry conducted both nationwide and New Hampshire-specific surveys for Centerline Liberties that found that a majority of Americans across the political spectrum support increased government investment in childcare and early childhood education as rising costs lead many to reduce their family size. Below are media highlights on these survey results.

Defending the Free Market
Centerline Liberties joined a coalition of center-right and free-market groups in sending letters to the leadership of the Committee on Education and the Workforce, House Financial Services Committee, and the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs detailing its 2025 Guiding Economic Principles for Federal Policymakers. The principles offer a constructive and balanced framework to protect economic freedom, preserve efficient capital allocation, and support job creation and long-term prosperity. Read the principles here.
Freedom to Marry
Amid a recent surge of attention on the freedom to marry, Centerline Liberties helped secure a USA Today op-ed by David Urban reassuring Americans that, “Marriage equality isn’t in danger. Were that to change, Americans on the left, center and right would come to its defense.”
In June, to recognize the 10th anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court’s landmark Obergefell v. Hodges decision that guaranteed marriage equality nationwide, Centerline Liberties partnered with Redbud Consulting, Echelon Insights, and National Research to conduct a national poll to examine American voters’ attitudes toward same-sex marriage. The poll results show that the majority of Americans (70%), including Republicans, support the freedom to marry. Check out the press release, memo, key findings, toplines and infographic for detailed information on the poll results.

Unifying Political Issues
While there are some issues our country is currently deeply divided on, Alex Lundry’s nationwide survey of 800 registered voters reveals strong bipartisan consensus on AI regulation, mental health coverage, vaccination importance, and community stewardship, alongside deep political fatigue. These unifying issues that lawmakers should prioritize in the upcoming year were covered by Politico Morning Tech, and Politico Morning Pulse.
Out in the Field
Former Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL) & James Dozier participated in panels at the 2025 FCAA Global Philanthropy Summit on HIV/AIDS.
Centerline Liberties Senior Advisor Will Devine spoke at the American Sustainable Business Network Policy, Progress, and Purpose Conference and on the Market Freedom: How Investors and Advocates Are Protecting Responsible Investing panel, discussing ways to ensure individuals, businesses, and investors have the autonomy to make financial and economic decisions based on their own assessment of risk and opportunity — not based on political directives from either side.
Leading Republican pollster and co-founder of Redbud Consulting, Alex Lundry, presented the New Hampshire poll findings at a childcare solutions forum at St. Anselm College.
Bottom Line(s)
“Policymakers should act on this issue for family well-being and America’s future competitiveness.”
"Voters are clear: mental health care is health care, and insurers should treat it that way. When a doctor says someone needs help, insurance companies should not stand in the way—and this poll shows Americans want leaders who will finally fix that.”
“This issue is a concern for all Americans and if addressed by policymakers, would have a positive impact on the U.S. economy and society as a whole.”
“These concerns are valid, addressable. and policymakers would be wise to move forward with commonsense legislation that balances these concerns, while not stymieing America’s competitive advantage.”
